Using Load and Go Greyhounds 1.0.6 on Microsoft Vista, Windows 7, 8 or 10
(print for future use)

Load and Go Greyhounds is compatible with newer versions of Microsoft Windows, but due to new security restrictions in the results files are automatically relocated on your hard drive.  After processing a race, the results files will not open automatically as they would on earlier versions of Microsoft Windows (XP or older).  Instead you will see a message stating the results file cannot be found and asking if you wish to create a new file.  Cancel and close that window and use the following to locate and open your results file.

  1. Click the Windows Start button in the lower left of the screen and type the following (or Copy and Paste from here):
              %userprofile%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Greyhounds
if Windows cannot find this location, use this one instead:

    %userprofile%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Greyhounds

  2. In the window that opens, you should see a Results folder.  You can right-click that folder and Create shortcut.  You can then move that shortcut to your Desktop to make it easier to find the Results in the future.

  3. In this Results folder, you will find all of your results files.
