Attaching a 35mm SLR Camera to the NexStar 80The end of the focusing tube on the NexStar 80 is threaded for direct attachment of a T-Ring (T-Mount). To connect your 35mm SLR camera to the NexStar 80 for prime focus photography, you simply attach the T-Ring specific to your camera to the NexStar 80 (remove the diagonal first), then attach the camera to the T-Ring. T-Rings are available at most well-stocked camera shops or online at most astronomy or photography shopping sites.
