Correct Slew Rates on the NexStar SLT

The slew rates listed in the SLT manual are incorrect - the scope actually moves at a slower maximum rate than indicated in the manual.  Here are the correct rates:

  • Rate 9: 2.75 deg/sec
  • Rate 8: 1.75 deg/sec
  • Rate 7: 1 deg/sec
  • Rate 6: 64x sidereal
  • Rate 5: 16x sidereal
  • Rate 4: 8x sidereal
  • Rate 3: 4x sidereal
  • Rate 2: sidereal
  • Rate 1: 0.5x sidereal
