Jupiter, Mizar and 95 Her - 9 July 2007

I didn't take good notes on these images as seeing was terrible and I didn't expect much, but they show some interesting capabilities of the NexImage camera coupled with Baader's Hyperion eyepieces.  The NexImage was coupled to the top of the eyepieces with a threaded adapter from Baader and a 1.25" eyepiece holder attached to that adapter.  The NexImage camera was then held in the eyepiece holder in classic eyepiece projection configuration.  The video streams were processed in RegiStax 3.
 

The SEB of Jupiter was almost invisible during this time period - it is the faint reddish ribbon in the wide white band.  I also caught Io transiting (that faint white dot over the NEB near the right-hand limb) and Io's shadow on the NEB:
